This may cause the down river stops to be 5-10 minutes later than usual depending on how many up river students there are to drop off. Thank you for your patience as we navigate the week.

We will have an Activity Route bus tonight, Monday, 5/16/2022. We will let you know each day for Tuesday and Wednesday Activity Routes.
This Thursday, 5/19/2022, is a student half day. Students are released at 11:45 am and buses will leave campus at noon. Your student will be home 4 hours earlier than usual.

Hello MRCS families and community,
First, we would like to say THANK YOU to everyone for getting your students here today. The turn out was exceptional for self transport. We are THANKFUL for YOU!
Second, a friendly reminder that students need to be picked up at the end of the day today, 3:45pm. If it is a hardship to get your student home, please reach out to the office, (541)822-3313 (MS/HS), and (541)822-3315 (Elem).
Next, after school activities are happening: Homework Club, Robotics and HS Track practice. If staying students need picked up from Homework Club and Robotics at 5:30 pm, track is taken care of by the coach this week.
Then, the Spring Music Concert (Grades K-6, Band, and Choir) is tonight. Students should be here by 6pm, concert begins at 6:30pm in the old gym.
Lastly, we have two drivers for tomorrow, Thursday, 5/12/2022. We will have a combined route down river from the school for the morning and afternoon ( https://tinyurl.com/2p8ttvj7 ).

A gift of solidarity: Students bond over resilience in face of Labor Day fires
Students from Southern Oregon and the McKenzie River Valley did not know each other before this week, but they share a bond forged by the devastating Labor Day fires in 2020.
A group of students from the Phoenix-Talent School District visited McKenzie High School to deliver a gift in solidarity.
